José Antonio Paredes:
Co-Founder; Head of Operations China.

Before co-founding Carpag, José was General Manager at Televés China, a Spanish leading manufacturer of electronic products for terrestrial and satellite television. Before, he had been Chief Representative at Eurolatón Shanghai, where he managed a joint-venture production facility of architecture hardware in China. Earlier on he had been Trade Officer at the Trade Commission of the Spanish Embassy in Beijing, and had held several positions at KBL European Private Bankers at Banco Urquijo, Soluziona internet services and Banco Pastor Investment Funds in Madrid. Through these years of experience he has developed a great ability to do business in China, specially in OEM manufacturing controlling, quality processes and logistics for international commerce. He has managed a joint-venture with local partners, led several acquisitions and company incorporations in the PRC and is very familiar with local regulation and business practices.

Gonzalo de Caralt:
Co-Founder; Head of Operations Spain.

Before co-founding Carpag, Gonzalo was Head of Business Administration and Finance at Continental Corporation (Shanghai) and Controller and Asset Management responsible at Siemens Ltd., China automotive business group (Siemens VDO Automotive) in Shanghai. Before, he had been international Business Developer at GPS manufacturer Advanced Telematic Systems in Madrid and Barcelona. Gonzalo has gathered a considerable experience in corporate finance, specially in project valuation and controlling, which complements his past experience in management of people and sales of complex systems in international environments.
